Maya - Dyna Feather 2012-04-29
Basic descriptive intro to the Dyna Feather system which I developed. In this vid simple geometry is used as the reference feather although scripts can be provided to produce custom rigged feathers ,the top most group of each feather would be returned to Dyna by the scripts so that it can add them to the system. Future vids will demo the feather nDynamics.

The Transform Constraint can have any number of transforms connected to it.
any changes to a connected transform will set it as the driver and will modify the driven so as to simulate a parent heirarchy
the state of the system is cached on a driver change
each driven transform can set a weight on the influence it recieves from the driver
keyframe animation of the system is made easy and seemless through a proprietary animation system
